The Story of Russ and Lisa

After rereading some of my current posts, I realized that this blog is a little depressing. I don't mean for it to be like that. I just write what I am feeling at the time and it just happened to be a few depressing blogs in a row. Soooooo....I'm going to tell all you Blogger Buddies about my hubby and I.

When my Mom and Dad moved to a new place, my Mom got a job with a chain kind of like Wal-Mart. She worked for a really great guy named Russ. HA! Yes, you guys have got it right! Russ was my Mother's boss!!!! So, she introduced us in July of 2002. We went on our first date on August 30, 2002...which happened to be my birthday! By the way, Russ' birthday is August 29...he's one day older than me! Russ then asked me to be his girl on September 4, 2002.
For our first date, Russ took me to see "Signs" in the theater. I was never into suspensful or scary movies at that time and I held his hand so tight that he had to lean over during the movie and say "I'm going to need that hand tomorrow."

So, we dated for a year and 4 months and we were engaged on December 24, 2003. We were married on September 4, 2004, 2 years to the day from when we started dating. And as they say, the rest is history.

Here are a few fun photos of us.

Were your ears burning?? It is so weird that I was commenting to Shawn that I thought your blog was getting rather depressing at the very time you were posting this. WOW!!!

I just have a simple silly question. Are ya'll Cardinals fans? Jeff (my hubby) and I are HUGE Cards fans. He just went to a Cards game with his dad and they got to do the whole VIP thing. I was seriously jealous. Just wondering.. saw the pic of the Springfield game. Take care.

Lisa I love this!!
Y'all are SO SO SO cute.

Maybe I'm just so used to it, but I didn't notice that your blog was depressing. Eek!! Will you tell me if mine does? Thanks!

Oh - and thanks for the advice. I'm not sure why I'm not doing trigger shots. Maybe because she doesn't think I have any trouble ovulating to being with? Not sure. I think I'm now going to keep a running tab of questions to ask the dr the next time I see her.

YEAH for our 2ww. Be thinking and praying for you.

Hi Lisa, I found your blog from I believe in miracles. Good luck on this adventure... it's just crazy how God takes us down these paths and we can't understand why. I'm praying someday that all of our journey's will make sense.
Good luck!

My dh and I went to the Branson Landing a couple weeks ago! I love that place! Is the Branson Belle worth it?

(And I don't think your blogs are depressing. Read mine if you want depression!)
