I am a 30 year old Christian, wife and stay-at-home mother. My husband, Russell, and I were married in 2004 and we welcomed our daughter, Chloe Jo, in 2009. My days are filled with laundry, crafting, cleaning, My Little Pony and family time. Life hasn't turned out exactly how I had pictured it, but I wouldn't change it for anything. Grab a coffee, sit down and enjoy my very blessed life.

Movie Date
Yesterday Russ and I did end up going to see Twilight at the $2.50 theater. It never ceases to amaze me how Hollywood can take a best selling book and totally ruin the whole thing. The movie was awful. Slow, melodramatic with bad acting and even worse special effects. The characters in the book are so vivid and alive! What happened to them in the movie? They were boring. Half way through the movie, I started laughing at how bad the special effects were. Maybe if I was thirteen and in love with the actor who played Edward (who incidentally also played Cedric Diggory in the fourth Harry Potter...and played that role badly, also) I would have enjoyed it. The only thing that salvaged the date was the popcorn and candy. I have no intention of seeing the second one that comes out in November and this is definitely not a movie that is going to be in my library...unless I buy all of them off the shelves so no one else will have to endure two hours of horribleness.

I agree! I was not entertained whatsoever and get dirty looks from people when I admit to it. I've also said "maybe if I was a teenager, I'd be obsessed..." but to see these grown women going crazy over it all freaks me out a bit. :::shrugs::: To each his own!

Aww... I like the movie. Of course the book was better but I didn't think the movie was bad at all.
I actually liked the movie! I especially like the dramatic music. Kendall has the soundtrack and we've listened to it several times!
Unlike you noy to write. Hope all is well!!!
