Puree: Butternut Squash
Reaction: Blech!
We hated this recipe! Butternut Squash does not belong in macaroni and cheese. In my book this was an epic fail! Chloe Jo took one bite and wouldn't eat any more. I took a few bites and decided that a peanut butter and jelly sandwich sounded better. My sister ate all of hers (she didn't think it was quite as bad as I did), but she said it got worse as she ate more. I will not be making this again. The sad part is that I love butternut squash and I love macaroni and cheese so I was excited to try this. It just didn't jive with me.

How funny! Josh and I love it but it makes for horrible leftovers. You have to eat it super hot, which doesn't work with kids at all. Annika hated it.
