Chloe Jo weighed in at a healthy 12 pounds 9 3/4 ounces. She is in the 25th percentile for weight.
Chloe Jo is now 24 inches long. She is in the 50th percentile for height. Her head circumference was 15.55 inches and she is in the 10th percentile for that. The pediatrician said that was just fine since she has been in the 10th percentile since birth and that neither Russ nor I have a large head and it really has a lot to do with genetics. It doesn't mean she has a small brain. Her brain just takes up more space in her head.
We definitely have a small baby, but she is developing perfectly! She did much better with her shots this time, too. She cried really hard for about a minute after getting them and then she calmed down and fell asleep on the way home. Last time she cried all for 20 minutes after getting the shots! We'll see if she gets a fever again. Hopefully she won't! I'm working on a post about why I vaccinate my baby. I still need to research a little more about it, but I'll be posting that in the next couple of days.

Glad to hear!
So glad she did better with her shots! So yall go to the pediatrician every month (at least by looking at your list of her stats)? Wow! I know at our appt they are going to talk about trying cereal, but I am tempted to try it sooner. Do you do it in a bottle or spoon-feed it from a bowl? And do you mix with breastmilk or formula? Oh gosh! Why don't you email me so we don't chat over blog comments :) acoulter11@gmail.com ... thanks!
hi Lisa - I was wondering how things were going with Chloe. Ellie was born on May 1oth, so I read your blog to see what she will be doing in a month. When did you start the cereal? Are you mixing with breastmilk?
Joy, congrats on little Ellie!
I started trying the cereal a couple of weeks ago. I gave it to her one day then didn't for a couple of days and so on. I really started on Sunday and have been giving it to her once a day in the evening since. I built up a store of breastmilk so I use that to mix with her cereal. I'm going to use the rest of the frozen milk for when she starts drinking out of a sippy cup.
I'm glad everything went well with Chloe's Dr's visit. I can't believe she is 4 months already.
I am so glad that Chloe is doing so well. I am not surprised!!! She is doing her job, and growing growing growing! Very exciting!
