Dialog between Dad and I during supper tonight while I was talking about my desire to go to nursing school:

Dad: "If you become a nurse and make $90,000 a year, you can support Russ and me."

Me: "You're nursing home just lost a star."

Dad: (sulking) "That hurts my feelings."
