I have several things to post about, but I just haven't felt like it. The last couple of days have been really hard. One of the couples from our new church family was expecting a baby girl within the next couple weeks. I found out yesterday morning that the precious baby girl went to be with Jesus. She was 38 weeks gestation. We have known the couple for several years and they are very close with my sister and her husband. We are all just devastated and trying to cope with what has happened.
It's all I can think about. My mind needs a rest, but it won't shut off. Grief. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteWhat a tragedy!! My heart would be breaking for them too. It is hard to "understand" why things like that happen to good people. I pray the family can lean on friends like you in this terrible time.
ReplyDeleteI simply cannot imagine. My heart just breaks for them. Many, many, many prayers.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness how heartbreaking. Sending my love & prayers
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for the loss of your friend's baby. The right words are hard to find in situations like this. Prayers go up for all of you.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry, sending prayers their way.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that. What an extremely difficult situation. My best friend lost her son at 19 weeks and has written a lot about it on her blog and has a lot of resources on there as well.

Stopping by from Kelly's Korner. I'm an Oklahoma blogger too, and I think my momma Cheryl is a follower of yours too!
ReplyDeleteI cannot even imagine what it would be like to lose a child. Your friend and her family will defintiely be in my prayers!
It is so hard to understand.
ReplyDeleteI cannot even imagine going through such a tragedy. I will be praying for them and for you as you grieve with them.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like we have a lot in common! When will you be moving to the Owasso area?
Thank you for stopping by my blog. This is just so heartbreaking about your friend. I'm so sorry!
